The Iranian regime is in complete chaos. Following the announcement of the death of the Supreme Leader, state television confirmed on Sunday, March 1, 2026, the deaths of several pillars of the country's security and military apparatus, following the massive offensive carried out by the United States and Israel on February 28.

A decimated general staff

The airstrikes targeted the heart of power during a strategic meeting of the Defense Council . High-ranking victims include:

Abdolrahim Moussavi : Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
Mohammad Pakpour : Commander of the Revolutionary Guards.
Ali Shamkhani : Special Advisor to the Supreme Leader.

Authorities have already warned that the death toll could rise, with more names of those responsible expected to be released soon.

A transition under high tension

These eliminations come amid an unprecedented institutional vacuum, following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei . A transitional triumvirate has been appointed to try to stabilize the country and ensure the continuity of the state.

This provisional council is composed of:

Massoud Pezeshkian , President of the Republic.
Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejeï , head of the judiciary.
A legal expert from the Council of Guardians of the Constitution.

Note: The security situation remains extremely volatile in the region as the world awaits the official response of this new interim command.
