Tensions diplomatiques : La France s'oppose fermement aux ambitions de Trump sur le Groenland
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has strongly condemned the pressure exerted by Donald Trump regarding the acquisition of Greenland. In an interview with several European media outlets (including Ouest-France ), the foreign minister called on Washington to end what he described as "blackmail."
A European territory under protection. Faced with the threats of military intervention mentioned by the American president, Jean-Noël Barrot was incredulous but firm:

The Greenlanders' categorical refusal. The local response is unanimous: the five main parties in the Greenlandic Parliament reiterated their desire for self-determination in a joint statement. "We want to be Greenlanders," they insisted, rejecting any American annexation.
