La Drenaet Abidjan 1 honore ses cracks au Lycée Sainte-Marie de Cocody
The Lycée Sainte-Marie de Cocody vibrated to the rhythm of merit on Friday, June 5, 2026. The Regional Directorate of National Education, Literacy and Technical Education (Drenaet) Abidjan 1 orchestrated its traditional Day of Excellence, celebrating the most brilliant students of the 2025-2026 school year.
This year, 26 students distinguished themselves through their exceptional results. To recognize their efforts, each received an award package: a school kit, a trophy, a diploma, and a cash prize.
The profile of champions:
Representing the supervising minister N'Guessan Koffi, the Inspector General of National Education (Igen), Hillie Baba, wished to commend the achievements of these young talents:
“Achieving good academic results or passing a final exam is an accomplishment that opens doors to the future. It is a reward you richly deserve,” he proudly emphasized.
Amara Sanogo, Director General of the National Sanitation and Drainage Office (Onad) and sponsor of this edition, paid a vibrant tribute to his godchildren, recalling that success is the fruit of discipline, perseverance and sacrifice.
"By staying on this course, you will constitute a real asset for our country tomorrow," he predicted.
The sponsor made sure to include the teaching staff, supervisors and parents in this success, describing them as "the foundation of these remarkable performances".
Far from stopping at this ceremony, Amara Sanogo announced concrete measures to sustain this momentum:
A strong promise that guarantees tomorrow's leaders mentorship far beyond the festivities of a single day.
