Côte d’Ivoire : Le gouvernement renforce le soutien social aux retraités
In its efforts to improve the daily lives of senior citizens, the Ivorian government is intensifying its initiatives to support retirees in the public and private sectors. At the heart of this program is the "ADO Bonus," an end-of-year bonus equivalent to two-thirds (2/3) of the basic salary index, now extended to former employees.
Beyond financial assistance, the government is focusing on providing accessible services . The Social Security Institution (IPS-CGRAE) has accelerated its territorial expansion with the opening of new branches, notably in Man (2019) and Odienné (2024) . This network drastically reduces travel costs and administrative difficulties for beneficiaries living outside the capital.
