Législatives 2025 : Koné Katinan s'excuse après le retrait du PPA-CI à Niakara
Le Dr Justin Koné Katinan, haut responsable du parti PPA-CI, a présenté ses excuses aux habitants de Niakara ce mercredi 12 novembre 2025. Cette démarche fait suite à la décision de son parti de se retirer de la course aux élections législatives du 27 décembre.
Dans une vidéo, Koné Katinan, originaire de Niakara, a d'abord remercié les populations de Niakara-Tortiya-Arikokaha qui l'avaient sollicité pour être leur représentant. Il a ensuite exprimé son "regret sincère" de ne pas pouvoir honorer cet engagement.
Il a expliqué que son retrait était conforme à la décision du PPA-CI, prise par le président Laurent Gbagbo. En tant que "militant discipliné", il s'y soumet, même s'il comprend la déception de ses partisans.
Koné Katinan a affirmé qu'il était sûr de la victoire dans sa circonscription. Il avait accepté de se présenter sous la bannière du PPA-CI pour porter "la voix du peuple de Niakara".
Le PPA-CI a choisi de boycotter ces élections. Le parti proteste et réclame des réformes électorales. Il juge ces réformes indispensables pour garantir des élections "transparentes et inclusives".
