Aéroport de Casablanca : Comment deux sénégalaises ont été arrêtées avec 14,8Kg de cocaïne
Two Senegalese women were arrested by judicial police officers at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco. They were carrying 14.8 kilograms of cocaine, according to the newspaper Enquête, which reports that the arrest took place on Wednesday, May 6. The drugs were concealed among their belongings.
Identified by the initials VG and NKN, they reside in Zone B of Dakar and were allegedly recruited under the guise of a promise of employment at a restaurant, according to the newspaper. Moroccan authorities state that the two suspects, aged 40 and 52, arrived from an airport in sub-Saharan Africa, the identity of which has not been officially disclosed.
The airport's criminal investigation unit immediately opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, with a view to identifying the ramifications of the trafficking network.
