The CAMES Competitive Examination for Teacher Certification

This session attracted nearly 200 candidates from 12 African countries . The rigorous process unfolded in two key stages:

  1. A remote assessment of candidates' academic qualifications and work.
  2. In-person exams held in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.

Obtaining the CAMES aggregation confers upon successful candidates the rank of Associate Professor . This status is crucial, as it grants them expanded academic responsibilities within universities in CAMES member countries, in accordance with the nomenclature in force in the Francophone African university space.
