Thirty-seven years (37 years) after 1988, Morocco returns to the most prestigious competition in African football. From December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026 , six cities—Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, and Fez—will vibrate to the rhythm of the round ball. The 35th edition of the CAN promises to be grandiose: spectacle, fervor, and African pride are on the agenda.

The Prince Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat will set the tone with a Morocco-Comoros match full of symbols. The group stage will run from December 21 to 31 , before the last 16 on January 3 , the quarter-finals (January 9 and 10), the semi-finals (January 14), and the grand final on January 18, 2026 , still in Rabat.

From the group stage onwards, the clashes will follow one after the other: Morocco – Mali , Nigeria – Tunisia , Senegal – DRC , and above all Cameroon – Ivory Coast , a classic of African football. The suspense will be total in each group.

The Elephants in the Fire Hen

Reigning champions, the Elephants of Côte d'Ivoire are tackling a demanding mission. In Marrakech , they will face Mozambique (December 24) , Cameroon (December 28) and Gabon (December 31) .

Under the leadership of Emerse Faé , the Ivorians will have to display the same rage to win that led them to the title in 2024. Three finals before the hour to hope to proudly defend their crown.
