Centrafrique : Mystère autour de l'évasion de Nourd Gregaza

The fate of Nourd Gregaza, leader of the Central African National Rally Party (PRNC), is causing serious concern in Bangui. Imprisoned since his expulsion from France in September 2024, the rebel leader reportedly vanished from his cell during the night of January 14-15.

While the Bangui prosecutor's office confirmed the disappearance without providing details, the Ministry of the Interior officially referred to it as an "escape" and announced the opening of an investigation. The circumstances of this nighttime exfiltration remain unclear, however, against a backdrop of persistent tensions between Gregaza and certain members of the Central African government.
