Coopération sino-guinéenne : Signature d'un nouvel accord de financement de 100 millions de yuans

At the start of 2026, Guinea and China took a new step in their strategic partnership. A non-reimbursable grant agreement of 100 million yuan (approximately 124 billion GNF) was formalized between Conakry and Beijing.

This financial support is directly aligned with the Simandou 2040 vision, the flagship program of the Guinean authorities for socio-economic development. The funds will be allocated to priority sectors such as:

Basic infrastructure : Access to drinking water and health.
Human capital : Education and training.
The primary economy : Fishing and agriculture.

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation welcomed the consistency of this support, noting that this is the seventh major commitment stemming from the latest FOCAC (Forum on China-Africa Cooperation) agreements.
