A new tragedy has shaken South Africa, already grappling with endemic crime. At least eleven people were killed and fourteen others injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in Saulsville , a township located 18 km from Pretoria.

The Assault: Armed men burst in around 4:30 a.m. local time and opened fire "indiscriminately" on a group of men who were drinking, according to the police report.
