Gabon : La cuve d’eau passe désormais à 3 000 FCFA dans le Grand Libreville
Excellent news for Gabonese citizens' wallets. Following a meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, between the President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, and representatives of the Gabonese Water and Energy Company (SEEG), the price of water tank delivery has been drastically reduced. Previously costing 10,000 FCFA, it will now cost only 3,000 FCFA , according to an official statement from the Presidency.
This drastic price reduction is part of a large-scale operation called "Water Emergency." Initiated by the Vice-Presidency of the Republic, this initiative is being led by the Ministry of Universal Access to Water and Energy, with strategic support from the Defense and Security Forces. The objective is clear: to provide immediate relief to households facing chronic shortages.
To ensure the success of this operation throughout Greater Libreville, significant resources were deployed:
How to order? Residents of Greater Libreville can already submit their requests by calling the toll-free number 18. Other free lines will be announced very soon to streamline the call process.
The government invites the public and teams on the ground to fully collaborate to facilitate deliveries, identify emergencies and make this initiative a collective success.
