Ghana : le pays lance le raffinage local de l’or artisanal
Ghana has officially launched local refining of artisanal gold , marking a major step in the transformation of its mining sector. Previously exported in its raw state, a portion of artisanal gold production is now being processed and refined within Ghana .
This initiative aims to increase national added value , improve gold traceability , combat informal trading networks, and boost public revenue . Local refining will also enable the production of ingots that meet international standards , destined for global markets.
Through this reform, the authorities intend to further structure the artisanal gold sector, create jobs and integrate mining into a dynamic of sustainable industrial development .
