Guinée : Oumou Diallo, 3 ans, succombe après avoir été enlevée, violée et empoisonnée

The urban commune of Dubréka is plunged into shock and outrage following the tragic death of Oumou Diallo, a three-year-and-ten-month-old girl. The young victim succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, October 26, 2025, two days after being found raped and poisoned.

Oumou Diallo was reported missing last Thursday in the Férémah neighborhood. Her mother, Fatoumata Binta Bah, recalled the painful circumstances of her disappearance in an interview on Monday, October 27: "After breakfast, I went out to braid my hair, leaving her older sister with her. When I sent someone to call them, I was told that the little girl had gone out with other children."

Faced with hours of fruitless searching, residents alerted the police and the gendarmerie. The gruesome discovery was finally made in the trunk of a car parked in a nearby garage around 7 p.m.

"We found my daughter in the trunk of a car. She was breathing with difficulty, white drool was flowing from her mouth," the distraught mother said.

The girl was rushed to a local clinic, then to the Dubréka prefectural hospital and finally to the Ignace Deen hospital in Conakry, but unfortunately did not survive the violence she suffered.

Doctors at Ignace Deen Hospital confirmed that little Oumou had indeed been poisoned and raped. Her body is currently in the morgue for further investigation.

Faced with this heinous crime, Fatoumata Binta Bah launched a heartbreaking appeal to the Guinean authorities: "I ask the Minister of Justice and the competent authorities to do everything possible to ensure that the person who did this to my daughter is found. I demand justice for my little Oumou."

An investigation has been opened by the authorities in order to identify and arrest the perpetrator of this unspeakable act, which has caused shock and indignation throughout the commune of Dubréka.
