L'« Opération Djembe » : Un Coup de Filet International Contre le Crime Organisé
A major transnational police operation , dubbed "Operation Djembe", resulted in the dismantling of several organized criminal networks in West Africa and the rescue of numerous victims of human trafficking.
Led jointly by the law enforcement agencies of Ivory Coast , Ghana and Nigeria , this operation was orchestrated and coordinated by the international organizations INTERPOL and AFRIPOL .
"Operation Djembe" targeted groups involved in a wide range of criminal activities , from drug trafficking and human trafficking to extortion , money laundering and cybercrime .
