L'AS FAR Sacrée Championne d'Afrique, l'ASEC Mimosas Vice-Championne
AS FAR confirmed their continental dominance by securing their second Women's Champions League title. The Moroccan side defeated ASEC Mimosas (2-1) in a hard-fought final held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia, Egypt.
The Moroccan club took the lead in the 13th minute thanks to a penalty converted by Aït El Haj , following a foul on Safa Banouk. Despite AS FAR's solid performance, the Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas returned from the locker room with renewed purpose, which paid off.
In the 56th minute , Ami Diallo finished off a fine team move to level the score (1-1), completely reigniting the game. The match then became a tactical and evenly contested duel.
It was ultimately a second penalty, awarded to AS FAR after a foul by Noura Diarra on Sofia Bouftini, that sealed the match. Redouani calmly converted in the 85th minute , restoring AS FAR's lead (2-1). Despite a tense finish, ASEC were unable to equalize a second time.

This victory allows AS FAR to qualify for the FIFA Women's Champions Cup 2026. They will face the Chinese club Wuhan Chegu Jiangda WFC on December 14, 2025, at the Berrechid Municipal Stadium, for a place in the global competition.
