Nigeria : 11 otages libérés par l'armée après trois mois de captivité
The Nigerian army announced on Tuesday the successful rescue of 11 people held hostage for nearly 92 days. The operation took place at night along the strategic Kaduna-Abuja axis, an area particularly affected by insecurity.
Thanks to the use of long-range surveillance equipment, troops from the Doka operational base spotted the kidnappers on January 26. The criminals were attempting to move their captives through a wooded area, taking advantage of the darkness to remain undetected.
