An intense preparation schedule
Before flying to North America, Didier Deschamps' men will follow a meticulously planned itinerary:
- March 2026: An American tour to challenge two South American giants, Brazil and Colombia .
- June 2026: Two final tune-up matches on French soil before joining their base camp in Boston on June 9.

The program for the final stretch is taking shape as follows:
- June 4th in Nantes: This first match is expected to pit France against an African nation. Discussions are reportedly well advanced for Ivory Coast to be Les Bleus' opponent at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
