Faced with an alarming surge in criminal activity in Salamat province, a general mobilization is underway. The Government Delegate General, General Ismat Issakha Acheikh , held a crisis meeting this Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Governorate to coordinate a swift and decisive response .

🤝 Emergency Meeting and Consensus for Peace

The meeting, held under the banner of vigilance and prevention , brought together a united front of key players: administrative authorities, local elected officials, heads of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) , as well as traditional chiefs.

The main objective was clear: to unite to stem the rise in insecurity, particularly the repeated attacks by highway robbers , in order to guarantee protection

populations and their property .

The discussions allowed participants to exchange views on recent incidents and to establish concerted courses of action aimed at restoring peace and public order in the region.

Following the discussions, General Ismat Issakha Acheikh confirmed the seriousness of the situation, stressing the need for an immediate and coordinated response .

He announced the adoption of firm measures aimed at neutralizing the troublemakers . The Delegate General's message is an urgent call for concrete action without delay:

"Now all that remains is to take action to ensure the effective implementation of these measures," he said.
