Togo : La CCI-Togo lance le projet « Femmes Action » pour féminiser le secteur du transport
The transport and logistics landscape in Togo is poised to become more open to women. This Friday, March 13, 2026, José Kwassi Symenouh, president of the CCI-Togo (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo), presented the "Women Action CCI-Togo" initiative.
The objective is clear: to break stereotypes by training women to drive heavy goods vehicles and operate construction equipment. For this pilot phase, named "Dorothée Nassif Promotion," 10 candidates will be selected. They will benefit from a specialized training program starting in September 2026, supported by major partners such as Africa Global Logistics (AGL). Ultimately, a dedicated investment fund will facilitate their integration and promote female entrepreneurship in this strategic sector.
