Côte d’Ivoire : lancement du recensement biométrique des agents de l’État dès le 23 février 2026
The Ministry of State, Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Modernization, announced the continuation of the biometric census of civil servants of the State starting on Monday, February 23, 2026.
In a press release signed on February 20, 2026, in Abidjan by the Minister of State, Anne Désirée Ouloto, it was specified that this operation, which is permanent and mandatory, aims to improve the reliability of the Ivorian administration's personnel database. It also forms part of future biometric attendance checks at workstations.
The target operation:
-Civil servants and state employees not registered during the previous census held from July 3, 2024 to March 17, 2025, in Ivory Coast and abroad;
-New civil servants already in service and holding a registration number;
-Future civil servants, from the moment they take up their duties.
The individuals concerned must schedule an appointment online through the ministry's official website to choose a date and enrollment center. Registration will be conducted exclusively upon presentation of the new national identity card.
Through this initiative, the government intends to strengthen transparency and efficiency in the management of human resources in the public administration.
