Coopération culturelle : une masterclass ivoiro-japonaise annoncée au CNAC
Cultural cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and Japan is entering a new phase. An artistic masterclass is scheduled for April 28, 2026 at the National Center for Arts and Culture (CNAC), as part of an Ivorian-Japanese cultural project that will take place from April 28 to May 4, 2026 .
The announcement was made to Françoise Remarck , Minister of Culture and Francophonie, during a meeting with a Japanese delegation led by Toshiaki Matsui , Director of the International Relations Office of the Min-On Concert Association . The meeting took place on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Minister's office, located in Tower B in the Plateau district.
The discussions also provided an opportunity to revisit the dynamics of cultural relations between the two countries, notably the official visit to Japan by the Ivorian minister in March 2025. This mission resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation and promoting the organization of joint artistic activities.
Among the initiatives already undertaken is a concert bringing together Japanese and Ivorian artists, which was a resounding success with the public. The upcoming masterclass at the CNAC is part of this dynamic of exchange and sharing of experiences between creators from both countries.
During this meeting, Minister Françoise Remarck assured the Japanese delegation of the commitment of the Ivorian authorities to take all necessary measures to ensure the success of the activities planned within the framework of this cultural program.
