Primud 2025, le rappeur Himra sur la 1ere marche du podium
The night of the Primud 2025 International Prize for Urban Music and Coupé-Décalé was held on Friday, October 10th at the Abidjan Port-Bouët Exhibition Center. This year, the grand prize went to an Ivorian rapper.
Himra on the top step of the podium at Primud 2025. This is the decision of the jury at the celebration of this cultural event for this year.
Rahim Bakayoko, his real name, won the Primud d'Or and succeeded Roselyne Layo who was crowned in 2024.
The rapper owes this award to his creativity. In fact, he has won several other trophies.
At Primud 2025, Himra was also named best French-speaking African Rap artist and best urban feat.
He also won the best hit of the year with his title "Banger" and was named best Ivoire Rap artist. He thus confirmed his place among the icons of the new Ivorian generation.
The Ivorian artist also received a check for 30 million FCFA which came with the 2025 Primud d'Or.
Other awards were also given to other artists, including the Best Urban Variety Artist award, which went to Roselyne Layo.
The award for Best Zouglou Artist went to Max Melo. Dydy Yeman won the trophy for Best Coupé-Décalé Artist.
