L'État verdit son parc automobile à l'horizon 2030
In an effort to accelerate its ecological transition, the Ivorian government has set itself an ambitious goal: to integrate 10% electric vehicles into the state fleet by 2030. This initiative marks a decisive turning point in respecting the country's climate commitments.
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs , this transformation aims at four major objectives:
This technological shift is based on the Low Carbon Transition (LCT) Project . Funded by the European Union and supported by Expertise France, this program has enabled a rigorous feasibility study to be carried out.
The conclusions of this expert review are clear: the deployment of electric vehicles is technically feasible, socially beneficial and economically profitable.
To realize this vision, the Ministry of Transport has been actively engaging with international donors for several years. The challenge now is to secure the necessary green financing to deploy charging infrastructure and acquire the first vehicles of this new era.
