Ivory Coast is strengthening its economic ties with the United States. On Friday, July 10, 2026, in Abidjan, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nialé Kaba , granted an audience to Florizelle Liser , President and CEO of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA USA).

This high-level meeting was held in the presence of the Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to the United States, Touré Ibrahim, and the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the American Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire, Junaid Munir.

The "US-Africa Business Summit" at the heart of the discussions

The main item on the agenda concerned the organization of the highly anticipated "US-Africa Business Summit" , a major summit for which Ivory Coast has been designated as the host country.
