Daloa : L'usine de transformation de cajou achevée à 80 %

The industrial landscape of Haut-Sassandra is about to reach a key milestone. Diallo Moussa, regional delegate of CCAK, announced on April 8, 2026 that the first cashew nut processing unit in Daloa is 80% complete.

Located at the entrance to the city (Bouaflé road), this infrastructure is the result of a partnership between Ivorian investors and international operators. The objective is twofold:

Promote locally a rapidly growing production (140,000 tonnes collected in 2025).
Stimulate employment , with a priority focus on integrating young people from the region.

Although the inauguration date remains to be specified, this project confirms the new status of Haut-Sassandra, now the second largest cashew-producing region in Ivory Coast.
