BTS 2026 : Le Guide Complet des Inscriptions en Ligne et des Dates Clés

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has officially launched registrations for the 2026 Higher Technician's Certificate (BTS) examination. Candidates are asked to strictly adhere to the schedule and procedures, as the process is now exclusively online.

Dates and Online Registration Procedure

The statement, signed by the Director of Examinations and Competitions (DEXCO), Djama Adam Mory Koné, insists on strict adherence to this schedule.

Essential Application Requirements

To be eligible to register, all candidates must demonstrate completion of a full course of study at an accredited institution and meet one of the following two conditions :

  1. Classical route: Having completed two years of preparation after obtaining the Baccalaureate (Bac) or the Technician's Certificate (BT).
  2. Path After Failure: Having completed three years of training (including a preparatory year) after failing the Baccalaureate or BT, provided that an average of at least 8/20 was obtained in this basic diploma.

Restriction: The last year of schooling taken into account must not be more than three years old.

Fees and Documents Required for the Application

1. Registration Fee (Exclusive Payment)

Payment is only made via TrésorMoney or TrésorPay (code: #76025143#*).

  1. Official Candidates and Independent Residents: 10,000 CFA francs
  2. Non-resident candidates: 20,000 CFA francs

2. Composition of the Physical File (9 Items)

After the online phase, candidates will need to compile a physical file including:

  1. Registration form and table sheet (printed online).
  2. Photocopy of the birth certificate.
  3. Photocopy of the National Identity Card (CNI).
  4. Photocopy of the basic diploma (or transcript of Bac/BT).
  5. School certificate attesting to full preparation for the BTS.
  6. Two (02) recent passport photos .
  7. Photocopy of the CMU card.

3. Submission of Files

A detailed timetable for the filing will be published at a later date.

  1. Official Candidates: Submission to approved establishments.
  2. Independent Candidates: Submission to the Directorate of Examinations and Competitions (DEXCO) , located in the Daoud building (formerly Osdi), in Plateau.
Special Note for Independent Candidates: They must present the originals of all their administrative documents, accompanied by a simple , uncertified photocopy.

Reminder: 2025 Session Summary

The 2026 session is taking place in a context of slight improvement in results. In 2025, out of 51,716 candidates present (participation rate of 95.51%), the national eligibility rate reached 40.48% , an increase of 2.09 points compared to 2024.

  1. Industrial sectors: 49.04% eligibility rate.
  2. Tertiary sectors: 34.65% acceptance rate.

DEXCO hopes for even better participation and performance for this 2026 session, crucial for the thousands of students aiming for this professional qualification.
