CEPE 2026 : L'incroyable revanche de l'EPP Kinneu, de 0% à 100% de réussite !
Going from the depths of utter failure to the pinnacle of success in just twelve months: this is the historic feat achieved by the Kinneu Public Primary School (EPP), located in the Danané district. After recording a dismal 0% pass rate last year, the school has achieved a perfect score for the 2026 Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEPE) exams.
The official results, announced on Monday, June 1, 2026, by the Inspector of Preschool and Primary Education (IEPP) of Danané, Kongo Djosonne, are conclusive. All 25 candidates presented by the school (9 boys and 16 girls) have earned their diploma and their place in the sixth grade.
A spectacular revival for this school which, in 2025, had experienced a total setback with no students admitted.
This success is no accident. Immediately after the 2025 fiasco, a true united front formed around the school to get things back on track. A rigorous assessment conducted by the DRENA-ET, the IEPP, and the Danané town hall identified major shortcomings in terms of supervision and academic achievement.
A shock strategy was then deployed:
For Inspector Kongo Djosonne, this result is irrefutable proof that "the support measures and guidance provided have borne fruit." While congratulating the teaching staff, he urged the pedagogical team to maintain this level of rigor to ensure the sustainability of these achievements.
An upward trend across the region. The achievement of the Kinneu Primary School is part of a very positive overall dynamic for the district. The Danané Primary School recorded an overall success rate of 83.90% this year, compared to 67% in 2025, representing a remarkable increase of nearly 17 points.
