Éducation 2.0 : Le Collège Moderne de Kongonou se dote d’une bibliothèque numérique
The educational landscape of the Gbêkê region is taking another step towards modernization. On January 23, 2026 , the Collège Moderne Maître Konan Yahaut Théodore in Kongonou officially received a digital library, a strategic donation intended to propel the institution into the digital age.
Led by Moov Africa Côte d'Ivoire , this initiative goes beyond simply donating equipment. It aims to bridge the digital divide in schools. During the ceremony, Charles Siransy , representing the operator's CEO, emphasized that young people represent the country's "essential human capital."
"This library is a tool for mastering online research and enriching general knowledge. It must serve as a foundation for quality training, adapted to the demands of a digitalized world," he stated.
The installation of this infrastructure offers tangible advantages:
The handover of the keys took place in a festive atmosphere, bringing together administrative authorities, traditional chiefs, and teaching staff. The school principal expressed his profound gratitude, emphasizing that this facility is a true window to the world for the students of Kongonou.
The donor delegation also included key figures from the company, notably Ms. Bessé Laure, Guy Nassa, and Adama Traoré (heads of the Bouaké and Korhogo branches), demonstrating the importance given to this regional project.
The day concluded with technical demonstrations, already illustrating the students' enthusiasm for these new digital tools.
