Yopougon-Andokoi : Le Lycée Moderne célèbre ses champions de l'excellence 2026

On Thursday, April 30, 2026 , the grounds of the Lycée Moderne de Yopougon-Andokoi resonated with the rhythm of the 8th edition of its Day of Excellence . Under the direction of Ms. Lignon Monique , the school's principal, this ceremony highlighted the exceptional achievements of 15 students and about twenty staff members.

A culture of merit at the heart of the educational project

For the Headmistress, this annual event goes beyond simple celebration: it is about establishing a true culture of performance.

"Our vision is clear: to have competent staff and hardworking students to make our high school a national benchmark," she stated.

She also took the opportunity to thank the educational hierarchy and the sponsor of the promotion, Mr. Jules Konan (CEO of the Ita Group), for his constant support, and to pay a strong tribute to the future retirees of the institution.

A list of achievements dominated by youth and determination

The highlight of the day was the presentation of the top students by cycle. One young student particularly impressed everyone with her precocity and brilliance.

The leading figures of the year 2025-2026:

  1. Top of the top: Goré Djiffou Tchangninman Dorcas (6th B1), 9 years old, with an impressive average of 18.21/20 .
  2. Top student in the second cycle of scientific studies: Yavo Ehude Gael (2nd C2), 15 years old, with 16.01/20 .
  3. Top student in the second cycle of literature: Kichi Ange Elvis (Terminal A), 17 years old, with 14.81/20 .

Inclusive excellence

The high school reaffirmed its policy of inclusion by rewarding students with disabilities who excelled in their academic results:

  1. Hearing impairment: Diallo Yenita Leila (1ʳᵉ D4), average of 11.81/20 .
  2. Visual impairment: Tommas Saihinon Christ (6th B3), average of 14.86/20 .

A tribute to the unsung heroes of the industry

Excellence would be nothing without quality management. The management therefore wished to honor 14 employees from various departments (education, environment, communication, maintenance).

Mr. Kouassi Kouadio , representing Drena 3, commended this teamwork, noting that these awards are the result of discipline and perseverance. He congratulated the supervisory team for its essential contribution to the training of tomorrow's citizens.

The event concluded with a message of encouragement to the non-prize-winning students, inviting them to redouble their efforts to be on the honor roll at the next edition.
