AGL Côte d’Ivoire reverdit le pays avec 800 nouveaux arbres
On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, 2026, under the theme of "Climate Action Urgency," AGL Côte d'Ivoire mobilized extensively. The company, along with the group's other subsidiaries in the country (Abidjan Terminal, SITARAIL, Côte d'Ivoire Terminal, CARENA, PACOCI, Ayiman, and Ascens), implemented a series of concrete actions in Abidjan and San Pedro to combat climate change.
The field deployment resulted in targeted initiatives at several key sites:
In total, 800 trees were planted and several hundred employees were directly made aware of the challenges of biodiversity.
The educational aspect was also highlighted through an e-conference entitled "Climate Restoration and Responsible Supply Chain: Building a Resilient Future." This event opened up the debate on the ecological transition within the logistics sector.
“Every action counts in the fight against global warming,” Asta-Rosa Cissé reminded everyone, reaffirming AGL’s commitment to building a sustainable model for future generations.
Already ISO 14001 certified for its environmental management, AGL Côte d'Ivoire confirms, through this mobilization, its long-term strategy: reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing waste management and actively supporting local communities for nature protection.
