Le CIAPOL tourne la page du Plateau : Cap sur Cocody pour plus d’efficacité
After 15 years in the heart of the business district, the Ivorian Anti-Pollution Center (CIAPOL) has definitively moved. Since January 2026, the institution has left the Noguès building to complete its relocation to the Cocody district.
This departure marks the end of an era that began in 2011. At the time, following the looting of its historic headquarters in Attécoubé during the post-election crisis, CIAPOL had retreated to the Noguès building in Plateau.
Although functional, this building dating from 1973 and never renovated imposed increasingly heavy technical and logistical constraints on environmental protection officers.
The relocation process, which began in October 2024, took place in two stages to ensure continuity of service:
The objective: To end the dispersion of services between several sites and to optimize the responsiveness of the institution.
This geographical consolidation radically changes the game for the teams. Where signing a document or organizing a meeting could take hours due to traffic and the distance between sites, everything is now resolved in a few minutes.
The immediate benefits:
This move is just one step: CIAPOL aims, in the long term, to bring together all of its forces on a single, ultra-modern and fully integrated site to meet the ecological challenges of Ivory Coast.
