Félix Houphouët-Boigny University of Abidjan (UFHB) is celebrating, and its graduates are showing their appreciation. On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Association of Students and Graduates of the Master's Program in Accounting and Financial Sciences and Techniques (AED-MSTCF) officially launched its 40th anniversary celebrations. To mark the occasion, the association organized a major donation ceremony on the esplanade of the university's administration building in Cocody.

This ceremony took place in a warm atmosphere, bringing together university authorities, teachers, students and alumni of the program.

A wave of generosity for the campus

In order to support the institution that trained them, the alumni pitched in to improve the campus living environment:

1. Donation from AED-MSTCF: Maintenance equipment (bins, brooms, etc.) with a total value of 3 million FCFA was handed over directly to the university president, Professor Ballo Zié.
2. Support from the Cocody town hall: Present for the occasion, the municipality reinforced this action by offering sanitation equipment (wheelbarrows, bins, vests) accompanied by an envelope of 500,000 FCFA .

For the latter, this act of solidarity marks the starting point of a lasting commitment to future generations.

The excellence of a "flagship sector" praised

The president of UFHB, Professor Ballo Zié, made no secret of his pride in this initiative. He warmly praised the rigor and quality of the MSTCF program, which he described as a true "flagship program" of the Faculty of Economics and Management.

While congratulating the graduates for their crucial role in mentoring and integrating younger people into the workforce, the professor invited current students to perpetuate the values of excellence, discipline and integrity that have made the reputation of this program since its creation in 1986.

Seven months of celebrations ahead

The launch of this 40th anniversary celebration is just the beginning of a long program. From May 22nd to December 19th, 2026 , several events will punctuate this festive year:
