To mark its 55th anniversary , the National Lottery of Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI) is pulling out all the stops. The Director General, Dramane Coulibaly , unveiled a rich and ambitious program on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, to celebrate more than half a century of existence.

Under the theme "55 years of commitment, impact and sharing" , this event, which will kick off this Thursday at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire, aims to honor the past while looking towards the future.

A festive and civic program

For two months, LONACI will be meeting with its partners and the public through various activities:

1. Media and Sharing: Special television programs and historical exhibitions.
2. Proximity: Deployment of the "Happiness Caravan" in Abidjan and in the interior of the country.
3. Youth and Sport: Exchange meetings with young people and a gala match.
4. Recognition: Decoration of company employees and gala dinner.
5. Innovation: Launch of the grand "Kadolo" prize draw.

Rapid growth and exemplary management

The CEO took advantage of this platform to highlight the impressive qualitative leap achieved by the state-owned company. In thirteen years, turnover has exploded, rising from 39 billion FCFA in 2012 to over 657 billion FCFA in 2025 .

This success rests on several strategic pillars:

1. Product innovation: Success of the Loto Bonheur and digital shift with LONACI Online .
2. Modernization: Updating of infrastructure and distribution network.
3. Operational excellence: ISO 9001 certification (renewed in 2025) and attainment of level 3 of the "Responsible Gaming" label from the World Lottery Association.
