Le CEPICI et le WIC lancent le Guichet Investir au Féminin
The Investment Promotion Center of Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI) has reached a historic milestone in supporting women's entrepreneurship. Its Director General, Solange Amichia, officially launched the Women's Investment Window (GUIF) . Developed in partnership with the Women's Investment Club (WIC), this initiative aims to break down barriers to accessing financing and propel women to the heart of the country's economic transformation.
This platform also benefits from the strategic support of the African Development Bank (AfDB), through the Support Program for the Improvement of the Business Climate in Côte d'Ivoire (PACACI).
For Solange Amichia, the time has come to renew support methods. GUIF aims to encourage women to "break free from barriers and traditional approaches." The objective is twofold: to recognize the economic value of projects led by women and to maximize their chances of success.
"The GUIF is a pioneering initiative. It aims to recognize the economic and entrepreneurial potential of women and to accelerate their chances of realizing their projects."
— Solange Amichia , General Director of CEPICI.
GUIF offers comprehensive support, from the pre-investment phase to post-investment monitoring, structured around five major pillars:
According to Nana Sylla, vice-president of the WIC, the main challenge remains simplifying the journey for women entrepreneurs: "The goal is to make the business ecosystem more accessible, more transparent, and better coordinated, so that every woman entrepreneur can quickly find the resources she needs."
In perfect alignment with the National Development Plan (NDP) 2026-2030 , the initiative aims to foster a new generation of leaders and innovators.
For its pilot phase , GUIF will primarily target women-owned businesses operating in five strategic sectors :
Priority Sectors (Pilot Phase)
🪵 Agribusiness & Food Processing
🏗️ Construction & Building
📦 Logistics & Transport
💻 Digital & Technologies
⛏️ Mining & Extractive Industries
In the long term, this initiative will also extend to creative industries, thereby consolidating the place of women in the growth engines of Ivory Coast.
