The lifeless body of a 37-year-old woman was found Tuesday in the city center of Antwerp, Belgium.
The gruesome discovery was made in an Airbnb located above a restaurant bordering the Grand-Place.
Even though the prosecutor's office refuses to communicate in this case, we know that it is a murder.
The body was sent to the forensic institute for an autopsy.
The victim's ex-partner was arrested in the afternoon and taken into custody. The couple has two children.
It is unclear whether this 40-year-old man is considered a suspect and whether he will be prosecuted or not.
