Drame routier à Pinhou : un agent de police décède
A police officer on duty was killed in a traffic accident that occurred on the night of Tuesday, February 3, 2026, around 9 p.m., on the Guiglo–Duékoué road, specifically in the village of Pinhou (southwest of Ivory Coast).
According to initial findings, the police officer, who served in Guiglo, was travelling to Duékoué to join his family when his motorcycle violently collided with another vehicle, subsequently causing a fire that severely damaged the motorcycle.
The tragedy has caused a great deal of emotion among law enforcement, local authorities and local residents, who praise the professional commitment of the deceased, appreciated for his sense of duty and availability.
