Grave accident de circulation sur l’axe Alépé–Abidjan : 32 victimes dont deux cas graves
A serious road accident occurred early this Tuesday, December 30, 2025, on the Alépé–Abidjan road. A 64-seater bus, traveling from Alépé to Abidjan, ran off the road near Ahoutoué, a town located approximately 17 kilometers from Alépé, at around 6:44 a.m.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still under investigation, but the force of the impact caused widespread panic among the passengers. Emergency services, quickly deployed to the scene, evacuated the victims to the nearest medical facilities.
The provisional death toll stands at 32, including two in critical condition. The injured are currently receiving appropriate care, while local authorities and security forces are securing the area to facilitate rescue operations and maintain traffic flow.
This accident has once again raised the issue of road safety on major roads, particularly in the early hours of the morning. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
