A spectacular fire ravaged an industrial warehouse located on the grounds of FrieslandCampina , the producer of "Bonnet Rouge" milk, in Yopougon on the evening of Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The blaze, which broke out in the municipality's industrial zone, triggered a large-scale emergency operation by firefighters.

According to information from the Military Firefighters Group (GSPM) and the Emergency Police , the alarm was raised at 7:40 p.m. The 4th company from Yopougon responded immediately, supported by several additional vehicles due to the intensity of the flames. The fire quickly became intense, requiring the use of two water cannons and three smaller hoses, reinforced by two fire engines provided by a neighboring company.

The resources deployed include fire engines 41 and 11 , mobile command posts 41 and 11 , and a rescue vehicle 13. On site, firefighters, law enforcement and authorities are supervising the operations, which are still ongoing into the night.

No official casualty or material damage report has been released yet. However, images filmed by rescue workers and shared on social media show a completely devastated structure, raising fears of considerable damage.
