Marcory : de retour du Mali, un membre de interpellé par la police
An operation conducted by the National Police on the night of Wednesday, February 11, 2026, led to the arrest of CA, alias "Sauveteur" (Lifesaver), described as an influential figure in the criminal underworld of the Sans-Fil neighborhood in Marcory. He was apprehended around 3:00 a.m. by officers from the 26th arrondissement police station in Marcory-Aliodan.
According to security sources, the suspect, who had left the country for Mali following increased security operations in the area, recently returned to Abidjan with the intention of resuming his activities in the Divo sector of Koumassi, near the Sans-Fil canal. Alerted to his presence, law enforcement quickly deployed an intervention force.
Police arrested him in a shack used as a smoking den, where he was found in possession of drugs. The 29-year-old, who identifies as a union member, is known to police for his alleged membership in the Sans-Fil gang and his close ties to Pacôme, alias "Peko," who is currently being held at the Abidjan Penitentiary Center.
His name has been mentioned in several cases, including those involving knife violence, armed robbery, drug trafficking, and public disturbances. This arrest is part of the security operations undertaken by the National Police to dismantle criminal networks and improve public safety in the Marcory district.
