SOLIBRA lance SOMBREROS : Le nouveau visage de la fête en Côte d’Ivoire
The Ivorian brewing scene is brightening with a new identity. This Thursday, April 30, 2026, SOLIBRA officially unveiled its new brand, SOMBREROS , at a vibrant event at Grin du Z (Angré Djorigibité). More than just a name change, it's a true promise of escape from the leading beverage company in West Africa.
While the name is new, the expertise is very real. Formerly known as Booster Tequila since 2020, the brand began its transformation in 2023 to become SOMBREROS . Inspired by the festive spirit of Mexico and its famous traditional hat, this identity symbolizes joy, togetherness, and boldness.
Under the leadership of Marc Pozmentier (CEO of SOLIBRA) and driven by the Sales and Marketing Director, Julien Zayro, this flavored beer is displaying its ambitions:
"From now on, we'll be turning on the TV with SOMBREROS!" — Julien Zayro
With an alcohol content of 5.5% , SOMBREROS positions itself not as a simple drink, but as a sensory immersion. It aims to transform every encounter into an exceptional moment, enhanced by vibrant music and colors.
To appeal to an increasingly demanding clientele, the brand has completely redesigned its aesthetics:
True to its policy of proximity, SOLIBRA makes SOMBREROS accessible to all lovers of conviviality through the usual network (maquis, bars, supermarkets, hotels).
The message is clear: with SOMBREROS, the party is just getting started. Viva SOMBREROS!
