Une femme de 39 ans taillade les poignets de ses 3 enfants âgés de 3 à 9 ans
The events took place on Saturday, May 23rd in a building located on Avenue Brugmann in Uccle, Belgium.
Around 8:30 PM, residents heard screams from their neighbor on the 3rd floor. Upon approaching, they discovered traces of blood on the landing.
Terrified, they called the police
Law enforcement officers, arriving at the scene, discovered the mother and her three children seriously injured with a knife in their apartment.
Lying on the ground, the two boys and the girl, aged 3 to 9, had slashed wrists. A knife was found nearby.
The three children were taken to hospital in critical condition, but they have been stabilized. Their lives are no longer in danger.
The mother was arrested immediately and taken into custody. The 39-year-old woman was unable to explain her actions. She was remanded in custody on charges of attempted murder.
