Disparition de Mohamed Alexandre Coulibaly au Canada : l'Ambassade de Côte d’Ivoire brise le silence
Concern is growing within the Ivorian community following the announcement of the disappearance of Mohamed Alexandre Coulibaly, a 25-year-old student residing in Trois-Rivières, Canada. Missing since January 14, 2026, his case has sparked widespread emotion on social media.
In response to this situation, the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire in Canada confirmed that it had officially contacted Canadian police authorities to expedite the investigation. The institution stated that the case is "active" and being closely monitored, while also specifying that it remains in constant coordination with local investigators.
In an appeal for calm, the Embassy asks the community to exercise restraint and avoid spreading rumors that could hinder police work. Anyone with reliable information is asked to contact Canadian police or consular services directly.
