Affaire McGregor : La Cour Suprême Irlandaise Rejette le Dernier Recours du Champion de MMA

The Supreme Court of Ireland has definitively ended the civil dispute between MMA star Conor McGregor and Nikita Hand. The fighter's final appeal, challenging his conviction for alleged sexual assault and rape, was rejected, as confirmed by the victim in a statement on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

History of the Case

  1. November 2024: Irish justice had initially ordered Conor McGregor, 37, to pay 248,600 euros in damages to Nikita Hand, 35.
  2. July 2025: A first appeal lodged by McGregor's team had already been rejected by the courts.
  3. The Facts: Nikita Hand accused McGregor of raping and assaulting her in 2018 in a Dublin hotel. Although the criminal complaint was unsuccessful (the fighter always maintained that the relationship was consensual), the case continued in civil court.

Victim's Statement

According to Irish media, the Supreme Court ruled that McGregor's defense had not presented any new evidence justifying the reopening of the case.

In her statement, Nikita Hand described Thursday's decision as a "victory" for all those who have suffered similar experiences. She added:

"After seven years spent seeking justice and peace, and trying to get accountability, I am happy to say that the Irish civil justice system has allowed my voice to be heard."

Conor McGregor, nicknamed "The Notorious" , remains one of the most iconic and lucrative figures in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the most prestigious MMA league in the world.
