Belgique : Oumou Hawa Diallo, une Guinéenne de 36 ans, tragiquement tuée à Liège
The Guinean community in Belgium is in shock. Oumou Hawa Diallo, a 36-year-old woman from Lélouma (village of Korbé), was tragically killed during the night of Wednesday to Thursday in Liège.
According to initial reports, the victim was attacked around 5 a.m. while on her way to work.
According to witnesses on the scene, two hooded individuals intercepted the young woman in front of her home before fatally attacking her.
When questioned, Ibrahima Diallo, a Guinean national living in Belgium, recounted the circumstances of the tragedy: "Indeed, on Thursday morning, around 5 a.m., as Oumou Hawa Diallo was leaving to go to work, two young hooded men appeared. They assaulted her until she was killed. I don't know exactly how they did it, but everything suggests that she was killed by these two individuals. The police then intervened and transported the body to the hospital for the purposes of the investigation," he testified.
So far, no arrests have been made. However, local sources indicate that two Moroccan nationals are suspected of being involved in the murder.
The Belgian police have opened an investigation to find the perpetrators of this crime, which has plunged the Guinean community in Belgium into deep sadness and indignation.
