Conflit au Moyen-Orient : le bilan humain après 10 jours d'escalade

Despite recent statements by Donald Trump predicting an imminent end to hostilities, the region remains mired in intense violence. Since the initial offensive launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28, the fighting has spread, now affecting Lebanon, Iraq, and several Gulf states.

Here is the state of human losses, based on official data and NGO reports as of March 10, 2026.

Iran: The Heaviest Civilian Toll

Iran is the country hardest hit by the US-Israeli strikes. Casualty figures vary depending on the source:

Lebanon is bearing the brunt of the Israeli offensive.

  1. Human toll: The Ministry of Health reports 486 deaths and more than 1,300 injuries.

Israel: Victims of the Iranian retaliation

In response to the initial attacks, Iranian missile strikes hit Israeli soil.

  1. Civilians: 11 deaths are reported, including a tragic strike on Beit Shemesh which claimed the lives of 9 people (including 4 minors).
  2. Military: The IDF has confirmed the deaths of 2 soldiers during ground operations in South Lebanon.

Gulf States and American forces

The Gulf region has become a theater of collateral clashes and technical failures related to the conflict. A total of 23 deaths have been recorded there.

  1. United States: Centcom confirms the deaths of 7 American soldiers (6 in Kuwait, 1 in Saudi Arabia).
  2. Kuwait: 6 dead (4 military/border guards and 2 civilians).
  3. United Arab Emirates: 6 dead, including two soldiers in a helicopter crash.
  4. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman: 5 cumulative deaths.

Iraq and 🇯🇴 Jordan

  1. Iraq: The country has approximately 19 deaths , mainly pro-Iranian fighters (16) targeted by air raids, as well as losses in the Kurdistan region (security agents and Kurdish fighters).
  2. Jordan: The kingdom has so far been spared from deaths, although 14 people were injured by missile debris fallout.
