Fausses détections au Stade Rennais : le rêve brisé des jeunes footballeurs
The Stade Rennais FC training center is currently the target of a large-scale scam. Since the beginning of March 2026, malicious individuals have been exploiting the prestige of the Breton academy to extort money from unsuspecting families.
Scammers are heavily investing in social media ( Snapchat and TikTok ) to target teenagers aged 11 to 16. Posing as official SRFC recruiters, they offer "exclusive" training camps at the Piverdière training center.

Faced with the scale of the phenomenon, the club reacted immediately to protect its image and its future talents:
contact@staderennais.fr .While the club is fighting for a European spot in Ligue 1, this affair highlights the vulnerability of young players to "digital vultures." By using the names of prestigious former players like Dembélé or Camavinga , the fraudsters are selling a false promise.
The message is clear for all parents of young "stars": the route to Piverdière is free and passes only through the club's official circuits.
