Interpellations après le vol de bijoux au Louvre
Two individuals were taken into custody Saturday evening as part of the investigation into the spectacular burglary of heritage jewelry that occurred at the Louvre Museum on October 19.
Confirming information from Le Parisien and partly from Paris-Match , two sources close to the case indicated on Sunday that a first arrest took place around 10 p.m. at Charles-de-Gaulle airport. The suspect was preparing to board a flight abroad. The second man was arrested shortly after in the Paris region, according to Le Parisien .
The two men are in police custody for organized robbery and criminal conspiracy .
