« Laissez-moi vivre ma vie » : une Irlandaise dévoile son billet d’avion sur TikTok, un internaute l’annule et se fait rembourser
A young Irish woman, excited to be going on a trip to Singapore, proudly showed off her plane ticket on TikTok a week ago. A mistake that left her grounded.
"I've learned my lesson," Melissa Doherty says today. The young woman had been excited about her upcoming trip to Singapore on TikTok in early October. In a video, the Irish woman living in Australia revealed her plane ticket , leaving from Cairns: a mistake that cost her her flight.
"I should never have posted the details on social media," Melissa Doherty laments on TikTok .

The reference numbers, travel date, and destination, which were visible, allowed an internet user to request cancellation of the trip and a partial refund from Qantas airline. Qantas then informed Melissa Doherty of the cancellation by email.
"Whoever canceled my flight, first of all, fuck you, second of all, you must be really sad, you need friends, you need a life, to do something other than make other people miserable," she said. "I was so excited about this trip that I've been waiting for my whole life that I very innocently posted a TikTok," she justified herself.
“It makes me sick, I feel like I might throw up at any moment,” the young woman added. “How can anyone be so jealous? Let me be happy, let me live my life. Why is social media so toxic, and the people so horrible?” she complained.
Despite this setback, the Irishwoman clarified in another video that she was able to get a ticket: "We have rescheduled our flights and we are going to move on now, I have learned my lesson."
