Côte d’Ivoire : Dr Christian Adjelou officiellement investi à la tête du CNDH
The handover ceremony at the National Human Rights Council (CNDH) took place this Friday, April 10, 2026, in Abidjan. Dr. Christian Arnaud Adjelou , elected on March 24 by his peers, officially succeeds Namizata Sangaré.
Presided over by Bernard Kouassi, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Justice, the ceremony highlighted the continuity of the State. The representative of the Keeper of the Seals praised the "remarkable" record of the outgoing president, recalling that human rights constitute the foundation of justice and human dignity in Côte d'Ivoire.
